[Lifting her arms up and resting them on Jesse's shoulders, she's leaning in to kiss him lazily again.]

[He smiles against her lips, his hands settling on her waist.]

[He dips forward to bury his face in her shoulder, huffing out a laugh that devolves into a whine.]

I'm not joking. I mean, my housemates would probably complain eventually, but as housemates go they're a pretty quiet bunch. I'm happy to have you around for as long as you want.

You're gonna get sick of me.

[She wants to say "No, never," but let's be real. There are no two people in the universe who never get sick of each other.]

Yeah, well. Eventually, maybe. But you'd probably get sick of me too. That's life. Then you chill for a few days and you get over it.

Maybe we oughta forget this whole place, while we're at it. Run away to Hawaii or something.

I don't know. I guess... sunrise? It feels more special, somehow. Like, you don't get to see it very often, and when you do, the whole world is just really... still.

[He nods and nuzzles up to her, brushing back her hair to murmur in her ear:]

Okay, east. A little house right on the beach, facing east, and we'll stay up all night on the porch with our piña coladas, and it'll be all quiet like we're the only two people in the world, and the sun'll come up over the water, and it'll be just us seeing it. Our secret.

It doesn't have to be just a vacation.

[Skye lets out a soft, breathy laugh.]
