[ Rather bumpy initially and still some rough patches to get through, but it could have been worse? He did nearly have a breakdown... for reasons unrelated but instigated by the idea of being with someone. ]

[Skye holds the communicator away from her ear for a second. When she puts it back to talk, she sounds fondly exasperated.]

[ He rubs his sternum, trying to get his breathing under control again. Why is this so difficult to ask? ]

So... [ wheezes ] Sorry... I'm f-fine now...

[ Alright, alright, doing as he's told. He takes an additional minute to clear his airways and when he feels it's safe to speak without risk of suffocating himself, he starts again: ]

What's so... so cute about... [ He grumbles quietly, knowing there's no actual answer to it. ] Well, i-it's... I've never...

Hey, relax. It's just a date. Not rocket science.

First, you talk about what you want to do together. It's good to come prepared with a few ideas. Good first date ideas include: a nice dinner together, eating ice cream while you walk around somewhere romantic and chat, a movie-- provided you chat afterwards... you know, that kind of thing. Anything that gives you an excuse to hold hands and talk about stuff.

[ It's easier to let Kenzi pick the movie since he doesn't know much about them after two years. ]

What sort of things should I talk about?

You know, you don't have to act any differently to how you regularly do. I mean-- she likes you, so that means she already likes how you interact normally.
